Cult Beauty - Stocking Stuffers under €10!

Hi Everyone!
So this is probably the last post on stocking fillers under €10. Has anyone found anything they like and will be picking up? Let me know in the comments!

Last but not least is Cult Beauty.
Now, we all know a few things about Cult Beauty
1. We shop it with XE Currency Converter open in another window to see how the pesky sterling is treating us
2. It's expensive
3. If you are looking for luxurious brands like Oskia (check out my review on their Micro Exfoliating Balm here, it is to DIE for) May Lindstrom, Tata Harper (two words - Resurfacing Mask💓) and Sunday Riley (Ceramic Slip Cleanser is in my Favourite Cleansers post here), then it's where you need to be. Like Beauty Bay (BB Stocking Fillers under €10 here) they don't have any gift sets that meet the €10 criteria, but I have trawled their site and come up with some picks that are under €10 and would be a perfect small gift for a friend or family member. I have provided the prices both in sterling and euros, using XE Currency Converter - so unless something major happens on the stock market we're still in our price range.
CB offer free shipping from £40, or it's about £4.

Note: Cult stock both The Ordinary and Morphe, both of which would fit into my pricing contraints - there is one product from TO on this list but nothing from Morphe. As far as TO goes, most of their skincare is very active - acids and retinols etc. Personally I wouldn't buy these for a friend/colleague/Secret Santa unless I knew that they already used them/wanted them/had experience with them. I myself had a go at TO Retinol 1% and ended up with peeling snake-like skin (review here) and I'm not sure it's a gift I'd give my worst enemy😂 As far as the Acids go - glycolic, lactic etc - some people are allergic to one or the other, even both, so I'd excercise caution. As regards to Morphe (BeautyBay also stocks their products and maybe you noticed that I didn't mention any, despite some of the prices definitely being within budget) it's not a company that I like or support. Their business practices are shady, their products over-priced for the cheap rubbish they are and I just won't go there. I own one Morphe Blush Palette, the 9B, but it came as part of the Huda Kattan X Cult Beauty Box and I bought that box for Huda, Sunday Riley and Tata Harper. The palette is fine, I don't use it that much, but I certainly won't buy Morphe products again. I also have a problem with the blatant lies they spread about their products - 'influencers' all over the place singing the praises of their rubbish brushes - Jaclyn Hill actually said that she preferred her Morphe powder brush to the Tom Ford Powder Brush PLEASE GIRL DON'T LIE. I have the TF Powder Brush and it's what make-up brush dreams are MADE OF. My best friend had the Morphe brush and it was TERRIBLE. It was scratchy, the handle came loose and it left BLACK STREAKS on her face from the ink running out of the bristles. Absolute trash. I'm also hugely skeptical of the fact that every 'influencer' and their mother seems to have a discount code for their products, which makes me wonder how much these products are actually worth, because as a seasoned make-up shopper I can definitively tell you that companies do not tend to constantly offer their products on discount - it just doesn't make sense from a business point of view. Unless of course your products aren't worth a red cent to begin with. I have a 'faux' Morphe palette that my friend picked up for me in a Middle Eastern souk and honestly I can't say it's any better or worse than any actual Morphe products I've seen or used. So it's a no from me - as @rip.ly would say - #idontthinksolinda 😂
And OF COURSE this is just MY opinion. If you are a Morphe lover then that's great, if you feel like you're getting value for your hard-earned coin, if you enjoy their products then that's what it's all about. But Morphe won't ever darken my door.
OK, rant over!

Here are the top 5 products I have chosen from Cult Beauty💓

Tony Moly Green Apple Balm/Cherry/Peach £8/€8.93 and Banana Delight £8.50/€9.49,
This incredibly cute peach lip balm holds a special place in my heart as it was the first Korean beauty product I ever bought. I found it to be nicely mosturizing and it smells peachier than the peaches from my local supermarket😂 It's such a cute gift for any lipbalm addict in your life, or perfect for your younger nieces/daughters etc. It also also comes in apple and cherry and there is a banana version for about 50c more.

Perfect Light Mini Highlighting Powder, Cover FX £8/€8.95
OK, I want this. Cover FX, notably their setting sprays and Custom Enhancer Drops have been on my want list for ages. According to CB this mini highlighter is a 'soft, silvery shade' with a buttery formulation. I am loving the rose gold packaging.

Tony Moly Magic Food Banana Hand Milk, £8.50/€9.51
Another Tony Moly product - I really do love this brand and it's so nice to see their products more readily available in Europe💓. The packaging of this hand cream is again super cute and maybe perfect for younger friends and family (or anyone who loves the smell of bananas, personally I can't stand the smell of bananas😂😧)

Brush Holder, Zoeva £8.50/€9.51
Every make-up lover needs a brush holder. This one measures 10.6 x 10.3 x 6.2 cm so it's big enough to fit a selection of brushes, and it's pretty to boot!

The Ordinary, 100% Organic Cold Pressed Moroccan Argan Oil, £5.50/€6.60
This is the one TO product that I have chosen to include on this list. So much of their range would fit into the price restrictions but for the reasons I mentioned at the beginning of this post I chose to include just one. I haven't tried this oil, but the reviews are good and I'd be happy if I received it as a gift myself - it can be used on the face to help with dryness and flaking and even on the hair for a healthy shine. TO oils are definitely on my to-try list.

If you have found this series of posts interesting I'd love to hear about it so leave me a comment or find me on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook💓

Have a great Wednesday!

CloudCloth® - Sustainable, Recyclable Beauty

Hi Everyone! Let's talk cleansing cloths. In my book, cleansing cloths and flannels are a must-have. I know that a lot of people prefer to splash off their cleansers, I have tried this but for me cleansing revolves around a flannel, AM and PM. Aswell as ensuring that your skin is free of residual cleanser before you start into your routine, you can use your flannel to give your skin a light exfoliation - I would recommend using cotton for this, to be as gentle to your skin as possible These were kindly sent to me for review by CloudCloth®, and I've been using them for the last few weeks so I feel like I'm ready to give you my thoughts. Let me first give you some information about the company. CloudCloth® is based in the UK and was set up in 2017, in Manchester. Their ethos revolves around encouraging people to switch to reuseable and recyclable cleansing tools. From the site 'As a Brand, we want to give something back. We are supportive of our community of c...

Alpha H Daily Essential Vitamin Mist

I love a good mist. I'm obsessed with anything skincare-related in mist form, especially toners and my @klytiaparis Voile Lacte Moisturiser (reviewed here ). So I was seriously excited to try Alpha H's mist offering, I'm now on my second bottle so can tell you my thoughts! If you don't know of Alpha H you should - and here is a quick run-down. It's an Australian skincare brand founded by Michelle Doherty and has been around for over two decades. Their star product is undoubtedly their Liquid Gold Glycolic Acid toner, which I am a huge fan of and have been using for over a year with stellar results - if you are dry/dehydrated and have issues with texture or redness this could be a skin saver for you. Everyone needs an acid toner in their life and this is by far my favourite (I've tried Clarins Gentle Exfoliator Brightening Toner reviewed here and Pixi's Glow Tonic which, quite honestly, did nothing for me). Back to the mist! The packaging is quinte...

New CID Cosmetics i-glow Shimmer Powders in Coral Crush and Sirocco

If you watch my Instagram stories you know that I originally ordered Coral Crush after I had seen Caroline Hirons say how much she loved it on her stories. After having Coral Crush for a few weeks I picked up another I-glow in Sirocco, the brush that is designed for use with them and a cream eyeshadow. In this post I'll review the two I-glows. On the  New CID Cosmetics website the I-glows are described as ' an innovative and luxurious formula of  baked pigments...to bring a radiance to the skin for a lit from within look ' Coral Crush Described as a ' luminous peachy coral blush with soft gold sparkle suitable for all skin types '. This is a really stunning product, both visually and on the skin. It comes housed in a sturdy white compact with an inside mirror. Although the compact is really pretty and chic, white probably isn't the best colour for it - mine is already covered in fingerprints...! Not a huge issue, but I'm a bit of a neat freak when it...
